    How would I size this up to a size 60” finished bust?

    • @HookedOnHomemadeHappiness
      @HookedOnHomemadeHappiness 6 днів тому

      Hi! Hmm.... my advice would be to start with the 3X size and then you can continue the increase repeat until it's the desired bust size.

    This is a great beginner project. The instructions were very clear. I have watched and started a lot of projects and got stuck in the middle because of unclear instructions. This is the first one I was able to do from Start to finish. Great pattern! Thank you 😊

    I don’t get how the 2 chain stitches aren’t counted as a dbl crochet

    • @HookedOnHomemadeHappiness
      @HookedOnHomemadeHappiness 6 днів тому

      When you make your first dc, you make it in the same stitch as the join. So only count the dc, not the 2 chains. When you join at the end of the round, join to the dc, not to the 2 chains.

    I am new at Tunisian Crochet. You are the first person that I have come across who has explained that the forward and return pass count as one row. Thank you.

    Hello! I am so sorry to bother you, but I am on your website looking at the written pattern, and I am not seeing the different neck size measurements. Meaning, how far in do I sew for a medium size sweater and a large size sweater for the neck hole? 🙂

  • @tinaanderson3218

    Can you make the ribbing smaller then the body part of the sweater?

    • @HookedOnHomemadeHappiness
      @HookedOnHomemadeHappiness 21 день тому

      Hmm.... you could increase on each side with the double crochet rows if you wanted the body significantly larger. The ribbing is already smaller then the body by nature :)

    @natalieludwig5354 21 день тому

    How many chains for a 2x?

    • @HookedOnHomemadeHappiness
      @HookedOnHomemadeHappiness 21 день тому

      Each size starts the same as the pattern begins with the ribbing. The number of rows of ribbing will be different for each size :) The pattern is linked with all the sizing info.

    Love your tutorial, the written explanations also are a great help, when I'm not sure about each row count. I got an issue, either I do it too lose, or I don't have the same type of yarn, my square is a bit larger than yours. Also yours looks stiff, when mine are soft/lose. Sounds like I have to do it over again, or it will look like a mop 😢😢

    • @HookedOnHomemadeHappiness

      Hi! My guess is that you crochet looser than I do. You can go down a hook size :)

    • @HookedOnHomemadeHappiness
      @HookedOnHomemadeHappiness Місяць тому

      Hi! Yes, I think you could. I'm not sure without making it myself. You would not be able to add increases (like at the top of a beanie). There would need to be the same number of stitches in each round.

      It would add some width to the bust measurement. You can go down a hook size if your squares are coming out too big.

    Do you have a Pdf of this square as I have to rely on captions and utube is auto generated so doesn't always match with what you are saying have you ever just watched with no sound just captions it can be quite funny the words generated to what you actual say. I can pick out some stitches but when you explain something sometimes I don't have a clue thankyou it's a beautiful square and think I would make some nice things with it . Deb

    I've really wanted to crochet socks for my mums birthday present. I've looked at a few different online written patterns and I was completely lost. I've read the instructions for your socks and it was also a bit confused. I don't do well with written instructions, but if I can see what I'm meant to do, I then fully understand. This is why I really wanted to comment and say thank you so much for making this video. Just being able to see it being done, and I can 'see' what you describe in the written instructions and it helps me understand it so much better. So thank you very much for making this video!!! I'm going to start making the socks for my mum tonight using your pattern and this video. Thank you !!

    This pattern is easy to follow! I am having difficulty getting past Round 11. The first time I reached round 11, I had 58 dc's. Took out everything to re-do rounds 8-11. Finished 11 and now have 62 dc's. I have been keeping track and counting the right stitches. What do you think I am doing wrong?

    Just finished my shirt and I love it. My squares came out a little smaller, which worked out for my size and I added 10 more stitches to the straps. Also, to cut the fringe quickly, I wrapped my yarn around a thick dvd case, slid it off and cut one end. Saved me a lot of time. Thank you for the tutorial.
